Bifurcation Chords

The bifurcation diagram of the logistic map, played as an instrument. The diagram's vertical axis is the parameter r and its horizontal axis is pitch. Point at a row (or touch it) and that row keeps sounding: inside a periodic window the orbit settles on a few points and rings as a chord, in chaos it becomes a cloud of notes. Below the diagram, the keys light up with the notes in play and a spectrogram records what you have played.
